Metal Arts, LLC Facility
Beginning late 2014, Metal Arts, LLC operates out of a 35,000 square foot facility, on more than 3 acres of land in southwest Wichita, Kansas. Though we will never lose sight of our roots in the traditional skilled trades of steel fabrication, we are gradually working towards modernizing our facility to provide more efficient service, both financially and punctually.
Our facility boasts over 22,500 square feet of production space, and over 7,000 square feet of office space. We have plenty of room to handle large tonnage and to grow for the future. Renovated in 2014, our facility offers an outstanding workplace for our employees and a pleasant experience for our customers.
Our 22,500 square foot shop is made up of a large manufacturing space, and a 2,500 square foot paint room. Our ceiling heights and open floor space allow us ample room to maneuver large components.
Metal Arts continues to invest in High Quality equipment using the latest technology. With the VB1050 Bandsawing machine and V630 Beam Drill, Metal Arts can process large jobs quickly. For more information on Voortman machinery, including capacities please visit the Voortman website: VB1050, V630.
New in September of 2015, our High Definition CNC Plasma Table can cut up to 6' X 12' sheets, and thicknesses up to 2-1/2". High Definition allows us to cut highly accurate shapes, and the use of Hypertherm's True Hole technology provides a more efficient means of producing plates by eliminating secondary processes.
Primarily used for the building of hand rails, our tube bender provides smooth radiuses for those customers requiring a certain look to their hand rails.
Our shop has three overhead cranes with capacities of 5, 2, and 2 tons. Our forklifts have capacities of up to 4 tons.
